Time to clean out the Garage!

Recently I had a sudden urge that I did not realize was a prophetic word and demonstration from the Lord at the time.  On Monday August 29 the Lord spoke to me and said, "go get a storage unit now and start cleaning out your garage for the move I am sending you on”.  As I rented the unit that afternoon the Lord said it is a Hebrews 12:1 time to remove every hinderance and all the “stuff" that is in the way, of the coming move.

Hebrews 12:1 says, Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also  lay aside every encumbrance, and the sin that so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us…..

This encounter was followed up by a word I received seven days later that Chuck Pierce had prophesied, "that it was time to clean out your garage”!  WOW!  What a confirmation to the prophetic experience I had just seven days earlier and talk about timely, was it ever.

There are many times that we cannot run the race before us and make it to our destiny because of the things that are in the way.  We have too much “STUFF” that is weighing us down and cluttering our lives. It is hard to process when life is cluttered.  I really believe we end up storing up things in our lives that we forget are there and just put up with them and “ONE DAY” we will deal with them.  These are fleshly and soulish things that are in our lives that need immediate attention.  The attention needed is not just moving those things around but moving them out for good, so as to never deal with them again.  Clutter in our lives takes up valuable space that is needed for the transitions that lie ahead in life. The clutter that you do not think is slowing you down, really has you stagnated in a place of immobility and inaction.

Past sins, mistakes, wrong or bad decisions, impure thoughts, wrong attitudes and the list goes on and on and on…..  But God has made a better way for us!  In John 2:1-2, John says, “My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin.  And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.”  Jesus helps us clean out the garage!  He is ready at all times to remove the encumbrances and sins that are in the way of our development.  We think, “well it is only a spiritual thing”, but in reality it is a spiritual thing that also has physical and soulish impact.  Much of what we carry is affecting us in ways that we do not realize.

Our garages, at times, are the catching place for all the stuff we can no longer have in the house.  Sadly when we fill the garage up, it can no longer be used for what it was originally built for, to house and care for a vehicle.  Vehicles in the prophetic typically represent our ministry.  Deal with the clutter in your life and do not let it keep you from properly housing and developing your life and ministry, but rather, let your life and ministry have a place that it can be developed and become stronger for the days ahead.  A clean heart and life will produce a joyful believer that can make great impact in the Kingdom.

It is time to run in a way that we never have before, so lay it all aside and run with endurance!

Foundation of Faith

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is the rewarder of those who seek Him.   Hebrews 11:6

Faith is the foundation of Christianity, period. I mean it is the way everything is done in the Kingdom of God. Without it nothing can be transacted, heaven cannot be seen in the earth, salvation cannot be experienced, miracles are not possible, lives cannot be changed and on and on and on. The real truth is faith is required in every aspect of our Christian life. We rise and fall in the grip of our faith, what we believe is how we live.

In order to please God we must BELIEVE! Not believe He can, but believe He will! Many have shipwrecked their faith because they believed God can do for them, but they have a hard time believing that He will do for them. It is like He could, but i am not sure He will, so I am afraid to believe. This thought pattern comes from focusing on what God has not done rather than what He is doing. What we look at is what we become, therefore we must be careful to train ourselves in what we look at. How we perceive God determines how we receive from Him. The bottom line is without faith it is impossible to please Him because He moves on our faith and trust in Him and what He will do for us.

Faith is the basis of coming to God. To believe and know that He is, will always be a foundation of Christianity. Jesus never doubted in the fact that God is! When Moses asked God. “who will I say sent me?” God’s answer was “tell them I AM sent you!". What a reply to a complex question! The fact that God has made that statement, that all may know that He is “I AM”, sets the stage for the working of faith on a higher level. Believing that He will do for those who call on Him through the name of Jesus is the foundation of the Kingdom. We must move beyond the thought, hunch, or "maybe might" mentality into the absolute of faith.

He is a rewarder! I like that, God is a rewarder of those that seek Him. Do you really see that faith is rewarded? God rewards those that live in faith for what they need in life. He is a rewarder of those who  are advancing the Kingdom. He is a rewarder of those who believe that He never fails! It seems that we are always leaving God a way out in case He decides not to do what we ask of Him. However we must change our thinking to, when I ask He rewards the faith that I demonstrate in Him. Faith is really more than a belief system, it is a solid transaction in the Kingdom that demonstrates that "God is”. The demonstration is the reward of God’s hand moving in the earth. HE NEVER FAILS!

An apostle of faith, Smith Wigglesworth, did some strange things to demonstrate the faith he had in God and God met him at his faith level. One time in particular he prayed and told a man who had prosthetic feet to go buy a new pair of shoes. That night the man, bothered by what Smith had told him, prayed and the Lord told him to do as the man of God had spoken. The next morning he rose early and went to the shoe store and arrived before it opened. When the owner opened the door he went in and asked for a pair of size 9, black shoes. The owners reply was "we do not fit prosthetics", however the man insisted that he wanted to buy new shoes. The store owner, in much dismay, went to the back of the store got the shoes and brought them to the man. The man put a shoe on the stump of his leg and a foot grew into the shoe! He did the same with the other leg and a foot grew into that shoe! The man acting on his faith in the word of the Lord given to him, walked out of the store with new feet and new shoes! What a reward for the man and what a lesson for the store owner. Faith was demonstrated and rewarded that day. We must step out on faith in order to receive the reward.

If faith is to be expressed in our daily lives we must seek him. Seeking Him is the single most important thing that we can do in our lives. God is looking for those that will seek Him with their whole being with nothing held back, no other agenda but His. Seeking God with our whole being births faith that releases the power of His Kingdom to demonstrate the miraculous daily, not just every once in a while. Those who seek will always find, that is His promise to us!

Build your faith to the greatest degree that you can and see the reward of His power in your life, you will be glad you did.

The Foundation of the Holy Spirit

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.   2 Corinthians 3:17
The greatest foundation that is missing in the church today is the foundation of the Holy Spirit. I am very surprised that in my travels over the United States, I find there are not many people that understand the present day ministry of Holy Spirit. Many think of Him at salvation and forget about Him after that time in their life. It seems as if He is only there to comfort them when times of trouble arise or there is a desperate need. What is worse is that many think of Him as the least and most insignificant part of the Trinity. In reality, He is a very significant part of the Trinity to us today as well as the most real representation of God in our life. He is the literal breath of God in us! He gives life to us! He brings power to us here and now!
Jesus said to His disciples in Acts 1:8, "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be witnesses unto me…” The promise is POWER! Power over all things in the earth. Literally the power of Heaven invades the earth through the person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Breath of THE LIVING GOD has exhaled from heaven into man in the earth and man is filled with God! That is way more than salvation, it is living in the divine flow of heaven to earth. We have the power of being a living witness of Jesus Christ in the earth, to present salvation in the supernatural power of Holy Spirit. When Jesus presented salvation for all mankind it was demonstrated by the supernatural occurrences of God. Signs, wonders and miracles were the avenue in which salvation manifested and created a belief in Jesus. People saw what He did and believed in Him. People see and respond to Him as we operate with the power of Holy Spirit flowing through us. That is why we need to to allow the Holy Spirit full freedom to operate in our lives and direct us in life.
Luke writes in Acts 13:52 that “the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. CONTINUALLY FILLED, what an incredible thought! They did not run around half full or even a fraction of filling, but they were continually filled. That is the secret to living in power! People ask me to pray for them to be filled with more power every week, but the truth is they must be filled continually with Holy Spirit in order to operate in power. It is really an everyday thing, not just when you think that you are running low or cannot do a certain deed. When we live continually filled we are ready for the opportunity when it presents itself, or even better, when He calls on us to do His Kingdom work. Makes me think that He is looking for people that are filled and ready to go rather than waiting on us to "get filled” when we see opportunity. Many of us run from opportunities when they arise because we are not ready or we are not properly filled with the power of Holy Spirit.
Last year I read through the book of Acts every month only to realize that we as the church are not living as they lived. As I read, I realized that the church of that day was so empowered by Holy Spirit and the leaders were living an example of the Spirit filled life, not just talking about it. They literally were doing what we hope to do one day. Maybe it is time that we do what they did in order to change the course of the church today, since we want what they had. We should be operating in greater works than Jesus did and it seems like we are trying to catch up! What’s wrong with that picture? Perhaps we need to rethink and change our belief and doctrine of Holy Spirit so that we can start living the destiny of the church TODAY.
There is a warning that Jesus gave His disciples in Matthew 12:32 “And whoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.” What a powerful warning. I wonder how many of us have spoken against Holy Spirit and have not realized it? Or even worse, we ignored Him when He was present? Or worse than that, we quenched Him and His works for fear that others would not understand or rightly interpret what He is doing. Religion will always put Him in a boundary that He will exceed because He will not be limited by religious boundaries regardless of how sincere they may be. We must celebrate all Holy Spirit is doing in our midst whether in our lives or around us because what He does is only from Heaven. Heaven invades earth everyday by Holy Spirit operating through us into the lives of others. What He does is the foundation for the supernatural!

Reclaiming the Foundations

Several months ago the Lord spoke to me and said go to Hebrews 6:1-2, I want to show you what I am doing in these days. It says,

"Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of instructions about washings, and laying on of hands, and the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgement."

That was on March 30th and He said that beginning April 1st through November 1st there will be a season of time of strengthening the foundations for the future of the Kingdom.  He said that He will be  adding back the foundational truths that man has left out. There have been many foundations that have been omitted or altered over the years that have resulted in the weakening of the disciples of the church and have produced immature christians. I do no think that any scholar or any person, for that matter, intended to weaken the christian lifestyle, but only sought to make it more “livable” or relevant to the culture. The outcome then is that christianity has become more a by product of the culture rather than Christ who is our standard.

The foundations that I am referring to are the foundations found in the Word of God, assimilated through prayer and lived out by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. There are truths that are only found in the scriptures that lead to the solid foundation of life today. Many have compromised the truths of scripture thereby weakening their faith and have been living a life of powerless christianity, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. Paul talked to Timothy, his son in the faith, in 2 Timothy 3 and warned him about the coming time where people would turn away from the faith and pursue such beliefs. The Word must become the foundation of our belief system in order to give direction during these perilous times. Many Christians are tolerant and accepting of beliefs that are contradictory to the Word and that must be put in check. To accept a lie for truth is the ultimate deception that satan can offer a Christian, whats worse is many Christians are buying into the deception. Check your obedience to the Word! Jesus said in John 8:31-32 that “If you abide in my word, then you are truly disciples of mine; and you will know the truth; and the truth will MAKE you free”. Freedom only comes as we abide in and obey the Word.

Assimilation in prayer is extremely important in correcting foundations. As we pray, God speaks to us  through the Holy Spirit. There is an emerging prayer movement that is taking place in America today. I would say that it is a resurrecting of the past prayer movement, but I believe it is a fresh new wind of the Holy Spirit blowing on prayer. There is a fresh sound that was not in the last prayer movement, as well as a power that was not present in the last move. In talking to Dutch Sheets I agree that there is something fresh from heaven in this season that is molding a people that cannot be shaken. This prayer movement is restoring conviction back to the church of America that is desperately needed for America to turn back again to the one true living God. Power is returning to the church again and it will mold what church will look like in the coming days. Prayer is the power plant for the church. In the early church they prayed constantly and they saw the power of God resonate in their gatherings and lives. They lived a lifestyle of prayer and power! There  is a company of believers rising up that WILL NOT live another day of powerless christianity.   ADVANCE and MOVE FORWARD!!!

The Appeal to Heaven initiative has really done a lot to increase the awareness of prayer in our nation. As Dutch has taken on the Appeal to Heaven assignment there has been an increase in prayer consciousness among Christians, however the assignment is great, perhaps greater than we first realizedI I see Appeal to Heaven gatherings springing up all over as believers see the need to pray like never before. I am encouraged to see so many people using the "Give Him Fifteen” app so there is continuity in praying for America as well as keeping up on where we are heading as a nation.

In the June newsletter I am devoting the whole newsletter to restoring the foundation of the Holy Spirit and His power to the church so be watching!

Thank you for all you do to help this ministry reach the nations and people with the power of the prophetic. I could not do what I do without you and your support for RTMI. Each prayer you offer, gathering that you attend, and very dollar you sow into this ministry is used to bring breakthrough somewhere in the world. We are building our partner base so that I can do more prayer assignments and prophetic decrees in the places that need breakthrough. I sense an urgency in this hour to ADVANCE the Kingdom, the need for the prophetic is great in this hour!

Blessings,

Ron
